What an honor!
My name is Carlos Calderon, STEAM teacher @ McMurray Middle Prep of Nashville and very proud to also be a STEAM teacher, Yes, Science Technology, Engineering and Arts are also a part of the learning process.
When it comes to teaching and transmit a message- Art, facilitates all this. The students benefit from the inclusion of Arts in our Hands on Projects, they feel PROUD, they feel CREATIVE. Most important it brings a degree of flexibility in the process to accomplish anything. Above all it has being fun and they are a part of the creative process. These are experiences and skills they can carry over to their lives and future projects.
ART must continue to benefit every student.
