ECLIPSE 2017

Mr. Calderon: I got up bright and early and went to this peaceful space at Percy Priest Lake, between Nashville and city Between the lakes, Mount Juliet.

I was there for two and a half hours to record and witness the event of the century = Total Solar Eclipse - from 11:59am to 2:55pm.

Main purpose: to further educate my students and share their experiences as they were practiced during i3Grant STEM summer CAMP 2017.

There were so many of us afraid of what was going to happen not only because of the magic of the eclipse but also because of the changes in behavior in humans including animals, plants and bodies of water.

I am so impressed... having had this experience, witnessing this event is so important because nature is something that we cannot manipulate. Being able to watch the moon cuddle with the Sun was magical.
